Engineering Supervisor - Work Orders

At Southwestern Electric Cooperative, we power more than just homes – we power communities, progress, and possibilities. As our Engineering Supervisor, you'll play an essential role in constructing and maintaining our electrical facilities, driving growth, and ensuring our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build distribution and transmission projects that serve urban, suburban and rural accounts ranging from private homes to industrial pipelines to commercial districts and manufacturing facilities.
• Review daily work orders and design drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Provide engineering services including design and cost estimates for construction and operation of the electrical systems.
• Supervise and direct staking, mapping and work order personnel.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in power is preferred but a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with line design and mapping as well as 1 year experience managing employees.
